On the southern outskirts of the capital city of Prague is the Písnice district, today part of the Prague – Libuš district. As a result of its historical development, its southern part consists of an old development of family houses and the northern part consists of a set of apartment buildings built in 1977–1989. Today, most of the buildings of this complex form the core of our Prague housing stock, consisting of apartments of all layouts.

In the immediate vicinity you will find all the amenities necessary for a comfortable living for all generations, from the emerging generation, through families with children to the elderly. In the locality there are two kindergartens open from the morning hours. There is a children's general practitioner's office right in one of our buildings, and nearby there is the Modřany health centre and the Dolní Břežany health centre. The JUNIOR Club is active in the area, offering leisure and educational activities in music, sports and languages, as well as the TK Písnice tennis club and the local Senior Citizens Club. Within walking distance there is a shopping centre OC Písnice, several restaurants and the SAPA market, offering mainly clothing shops, fresh ingredients of international cuisine and several typical Vietnamese restaurants.

Thanks to its location, Písnice is a gateway to the Modřany Gully, which attracts visitors taking excursions into nature and offers children several football fields and basketball courts. The A21 cycle path passes nearby and continues through Modřany Gully towards the Vltava River or Kunratický Forest.

The location is easily accessible to Kačerov metro station (bus lines 113, 331, 333, approx. 10 min.), line 197 provides a connection to Smíchov railway station.

The construction of the D metro line, which has already commenced in the form of preparatory works, means huge potential for the Písnice area in the future. In connection with the anticipated final metro station "Písnice", CIB GROUP is preparing in the long term, in cooperation with top urban planners and architects, comprehensive completion and reconstruction of the Písnice housing estate.
